About Crazy Chemist Candles

Crazy chemist candles was created to feed both my scientific and creative heart. The complexity in choosing the right container, wax, wicks, fragrances, and colors provides my analytical brain an amazing workout. I am also recently a semi-empty nester as my only son is away at college for 9 months of the year and the development of my candle making technique and business has been a sanity saver.

I truly enjoy creating a unique mix of fragrances to achieve the desired scent. My only hope is that you enjoy them as much, or more than I enjoyed creating them for you.

    Chasta obtained her doctoral degree in Chemistry from the University of South Carolina in 2001. She went on to earn a Master’s of Business Administration from Winthrop University in 2016. She has been in the education sector since 2001. Crazy Chemist Candles, LLC is her way of combining both her degrees and her creativity.
